Even though I was against the Maya train and the new airport, I hope they both become profitable in the long run.
However, AMLO did a lot for the poor. The minimum wage was raised five times during his tenure and and the pension age was reduced for many including women.
Additionally over 9.5 million people were raised out of poverty. These are major accomplishments.
Of course, defeating the Mexican ruling class in the elections and having a super majority in Congress well hasten the passing of the reforms.
For almost 100 years, wages were kept artificially low for the majority of people, so the Mexican ruling class, the oligarchs, could live like kings.

Heard this promise before, “the poor comes first”, can’t have a “rich “government with “poor people”. (BUNCH OF LIES”.) AMLO spent over $6 billion to build “his” “toy Mayen Train”. Explain that to the poor people of Mexico, President Claudia Sheinbaum? Just a bunch of promises to keep fooling the poor people of Mexico for another 6 years.
