Trumpy asking the President to allow American military into Mexico is such a joke and typical Trumpy distraction! Trumpy cannot even get rid of the gangs living in the the US! And, for any of you who think Mexico or any one can stop the cartels, you are definitely living in LA LA land! The money is way too much to stop them. Furthermore, I love the approach of throwing guns back in Trumpys face and asking him to do something about the US arming the cartels!

INTELLIGENCE DEFINITIONS – CIA”. Just because the president of the US has declared most immigrants (mainly those who are not white) terrorists does not make this so. Some of those who have been deported are probably gang members, not terrorists by definition. Visually none of them have had the hearing they are entitled to according to the US constitution. Many, if not most, are not criminals, and a number of them are legally in the US.

What makes you think he means well? This is not meant to be snarky, but I have not yet seen evidence of Trump meaning well in any thing he has done domestically or in foreign relations. So it is a serious question.

Question for those who feel the U.S. should not enter Mexico to put an end to the cartels. If someone
killed your child and disappeared in another country,
and that country turned the other cheek, do you feel you
have the right to enter that country and go after the guy?

On another note-what Esteban’s says above about guns imported by the government is amazing!
If true, it’s pretty telling. Esteban’s other comment, that about 60 % of Mexico likes the cartels more than the government, if true, supports my point. The government has no intention of destroying the cartels, and if true, no wonder the government continues to turn the other cheek.
The few big bust that were made were small potatoes in the scope of things, and done as a show of support so Trump would ease up on the threatened tariff .

Lastly, American has totally failed to live up to their responsibility and stop the floe of guns, and step up the campaign against addiction. It if Esteban is right, how do we do so if 85% of the guns are being purchased legally by the Mexican government?

What she says and what is happening are two different things. I believe she is getting assistance from the US without saying anything about it. Why would anyone publish that. Why are numerous actions being conducted by the Mexican military more now then in the past??????? Spy drones and more spy satellite must be helping.

85% 0f legally purchased US guns for Mexico are purchased by the Mexican government. Some how many of them end up in the wrong hands. Weird right.

The United States military has no business entering Mexico. U.S. military action would be considered an invasion. The United States should focus on drug interdiction, reduction in the demand for drugs, and stop selling weapons to the cartels in Mexico and throughout Latin America. The United States should own their part in the problem of drugs and violence. Hands off Mexico.

Have you lived long term in Mexico? I would guess no form your post. In many areas the cartels are liked better than the government. I would say 60 % would say so.
