Any status update? This export facility would provide a west coast outlet for Permian Gas to Asia and bring the natural gas lines further south towards Mazatlan. This would reduce the potential to use gas exports as a weapon in trade since it would hurt US interest to shut down flow and void contracted deliveries between us producers and Asia.

Sheinbaum really needs to stop playing games. She’s got a tiger by the tail. Is the u.s. right in what it’s doing… probably not. But they hold all the cards. At least for now….
