Tariffs do not work out for the consumer, ever, therefore I don’t need to wait. Btw I don’t owe any business, not a single one, my business just cuz they make their products in the US. I certainly don’t owe my gov anymore of my earnings.

I don’t know this for a fact but I worked long enough at those levels to know the leaders are not only passively waiting to see what happens next but also actively searching for other markets and perhaps to make other products for those markets. Whether the US respects NAFTA (it’s real name) or not, Mexican companies won’t give up without exploring these options and many will be somewhat successful so hopefully the long term will have been good for Mexico making her stronger with a broader customer base.
