The Chinese market is largely EV, but they’re happy to make gas machines. They are cheap and sell. Mexico should stop importation from China and let them go elsewhere.

Ha! China is not engaging in forever wars the world over. That’s the USA. The anti Chinese propaganda gets more extreme every year. And the average US citizens falls for it because they don’t have any understanding what happens outside their borders. Take the average US citizens complete lack of understanding, or even interest in understanding Mexico.

totally agree with the first part of your last statement, however, wasn’t it US capitalism that in large part created china’s? they have always been an intelligent lot, so they had to know it wouldn’t take long to become the 2nd largest world “power” from all that US “ingenuity” (aka profitability factors) – meanwhile, their lack of reciprocity and blatant secrecy makes their motives questionable on a large scale – mexico’s continued reliance on china is very dangerous and could easily lead to a form of subjugation

bottom line: i’d say limit those chinese imports when we are currently building products our nearest neighbors need, and oh by the way, just happen to be our biggest customers – keep those neighbors happier

Those of us who live in Mexico, it is a no brainier to buy a new Chinese car, higher quality and lower price.This is the heart of Capitalism. Not mentioned in the article is that these imported cars, Chery included have high gas mileages per gallon. In a country like Mexico which charges (as a form of taxation) gas at $5.25 US oer gallon, these Chinese cars are very competitive in Quality, price, and COST TO RUN. Wait till BYD gets into the action???!!!!

I am a capitalist.Make the USA produce. Trump is just a thug, wanting freebies just like he wants for his own life. laziness. The felon is a welfare king. Capitalism is not a pretty system, but it brings out the best in humans productivity.
