This is a cool idea. However I can see a real problem with providing security. The border region is notorious for the large numbers of criminals and criminal activity. There is already a serious truck hijacking problem there, how are you going to protect something like this that is unmanned?

Near shoring at it’s finest. Much closer than China They have been ferrying product from the Caribbean states to the Florida Crotch, the spot between The Florida Panhandle and The Florida Peninsula for a while now. There was a huge garment factory down there that shipped to that point in Florida.
