Oaxaca is one of my favourite places in Mexico. There is so much to like about it – the people, the food, the climate, the culture and architecture are just a few things that come to mind. It’s a very special place and I look forward to returning there next month. However, perhaps my days of backpacking budget travel are over, but is spending almost $100 CAD a day considered traveling on the cheap? Ouch!
