Love all these people who are not from Mexico commenting on how a Mexican town should be run. You are showing your entitlement and imperialistic tendencies. When you cross the border, check yourself. Let Mexico be run by Mexicans and make their own decisions. You are a guest in Mexico.

Let me preface my comment with "I am not homophobic or anti gay". I respect people's rights , freedoms and choices in how they choose to live. Now to my response to this article. I have been visiting Vallarta since 1980 , staying at Playa Los Arcos until purchasing my home in Cinco de Deceimbre . I have watched the "romantic zone" turn into the gay playground it is today. No more friendly "holas", buen dia, buenos tardes, etc. from the gay community ... they act like what are you doing in our hood? They dismiss the conservative essence of Mexico with walking about with their "junk" on display and often inappropriate displays of affection. I can no longer suggest that families visit the area as it isn't very "Mexican" or charming anymore. Their $$$ has also changed the architectural landscape from beautiful mexican architecture to concrete and glass unaffordable monstrosities. I could go on but I'm sure I've upset enough people by now so I won't continue. I'm just so sad to see that area change so significantly.

Boy, that truth guy is dumb, uninformed and really should just go back to the bigoted US. No one is indictrinated to be gay. No one is indictrinated to be straight. What a verbose idiot. He doesn’t have gay friends. He has dumb trumpy friends. Now, enough time has been wasted on a dumbass. Viva Mexico and Viva Puerto Vallarta! We’re not gay, but moved here partly because of the love and respect shown to gay people. We’re originally from Los Angeles and actually have real life gay friends!
