This establishment sounds well run but I have seen dolphins kept in tiny dirty pens on Isla mujeres and were dragged to the surface to be cuddled

I have the same question—what is going to happen to all of the dolphins already in captivity? I can’t believe that returning them to the wild is a viable option for their survival…

So you and your daughter would be willing to live in a cage as long as you are were well fed and cared for? Not that these animals are given a choice! Like humans, dolphins are intelligent, social creatures. They don’t deserve to be caged. They should be free to swim in the wild with their family pods. The same goes for Orcas. While anyone can have an opinion, you aren’t qualified to judge the physical and psychology health of these animals. You don’t have the education, training or experience to make a judgement. Just because they are well fed doesn’t mean they are healthy or happy.

To make it very clear for people to understand. These Mammals are being kept in prison. More so in solitary confinement never being allowed to live their lives as the free beings they are . We as humans have NO RIGHT to deprive them of their Freedom in order to make us “HAPPY” at their expense. Obviously the Dolphins are not doing this of their own free will because if they were allowed to go into the open ocean the choice for them is obvious. I can understand a rescue sanctuary for Dolphins that have been injured or sick or cannot survive on their own but to take perfectly healthy Dolphins out of their world is just wrong. Especially when it is for someone to make a profit .
