There isn’t an English-language translation of the book of which I’m aware, but I see now that the English title on many bookseller websites (Penguin, Amazon and various others) is “Motherland.”

Audible translates the title as “A Country with a Mother.”

The use of “madre” in the title is indeed a reference to Malinche as a “mother” figure in Mexico.

Here is an extract of a review of the book that appears on the official website of “Una patria con madre” and various bookseller websites.

A quote from the author:

Yes, technically, “madre” means mother, but not in this context, at least not in Mexico. instead, “madre” means “character,” “guts,” or “soul.” It’s usually used in the negative: “qué poca madre” is Mexican slang for “qué sinvergüenza,” meaning “what a shameless s.o.b..” Back to the positive meaning, “una patria con madre” roughly translates as “a homeland with character/guts/soul.” (You should consider getting a Mexican editor…)
