6 Habits In People That Makes Me Happy

Recently I was surfing the internet and came across this anecdote which I couldn’t resist but share.
A woman was teaching her 6-year-old granddaughter how to unbuckle her seat belt. She asked, “Do I click the square?” The woman said, “Yes.” the little girl asked her again, “Single click or double click?”
The innocence of a child! But subconsciously an outcome of a habit. A habit formed by observing the surrounding and over the time. If I have to define habits then habits are something that one forms consciously and gradually becomes a core part of one’s behaviour.
Remember that friend who is a loud bathroom singer. So for him, bathroom singing is a habit and for others listening to him daily is a habit, you see its both ways!
It’s the habit that shape us or break us, nothing in between. We form habits and with time it becomes a part of us, an identity. The human tendency is to love their own habits (which they feel is harmless, an integral part and can’t be changed) and be critical about everyone’s else (see it as a weakness and nonessential).
Well, I am not an expert in human psychology nor a Mr.Perfect types but yes I love a couple of habits in an average human being that would give me an idea about the whole of their personality, and yes it really makes me happy to connect with such people!

6 Habits In People That Makes Me Happy

Everyone Deserves To Be Treated With Respect: Everyone deserve their part of respect. When I say, everyone, I mean all the creatures. Treating everyone around with respect will earn you respect. The more you treat people with dignity, the heavier your ‘portfolio of a good human being’ gets. It has to be natural without any implications. Everyone is fighting for something and you don’t know why they are at that place. I have noticed people bending towards the powerful ones because they have the interest to be served but that way you respect the chair and not the person. Beware of such kind of people. There is something to be learned from everyone and there are people above you in the hierarchy, so take a deep breath and think about it. A kind voice and an empathetic attitude make you a different human being.

Be that! Everyone at the end is equal, if you know what I mean.
Let The Small Things Be Small: A fake talk with fake intention is always lethal. Stay away from such people who show utmost interest in you and try to appease you. You wouldn’t want to be surrounded by such people who always try to make a circle of an unreal world around you. Trust your senses and make your connection loose with such kind of people. When someone has to make a real connection with you, they won’t fake themselves, they would be genuine.
Focus On People More Than Anything Else: “You can take my factories, burn up my buildings, but give me my people and I’ll build the business right back again”~ Henry Ford.
So very true. When you start climbing the ladder of success we forget that it’s your people who were there when your were nothing and have been a strength and will be there to lift you when you fall down! It’s people who will be with you when everything is gone. Machines, materials, and money may someday vanish, but people stay. And yes your gold watch won’t make you feel better when time is bad, your friends and family will.
Fact, Truth And Opinion: Sometimes you are so engrossed in looking at the fact that you overlook the truth and get carried away by the beauty of the fact. Evaluating things from all direction can save much of your time and help you to make better decisions. The fact is shallow, the truth is deep, know the difference. To know a human or a thing better, get to the root. Recall the story of 6 blind men and an elephant where each of them touches a part of the animal and forms the opinion of what it may resemble! All of them are right in their own way, but the truth is something else, yes? Don’t beat around the bush with half cooked facts or uneven sentiments. Every story is different, & every individual is right!
Be Authentic: How far would you go trying to be someone else? Not very far. Be genuine, be real. You are born to be a unique creature, be that. Improve and update( you can do that with the in-built self-updating software). Smell the coffee, the world is still beautiful and you are one of the beautiful creations of the nature. And everyone loves the original, things and humans both included.
Find Reasons To Love Life: Ah, the beauty lies here. Find something that makes you happy. Do it on regular basis heartily. Appreciate small things, get time to follow a hobby. Enjoy nature and spend time with your loved ones. The motivation to love life is the life itself, you don’t know what’s stored on the other side of life. It’s hard on you, it’s harder on others too. Don’t crib about it, let it flow. Live the life poising the beauty and duty.
