Who is victim?

In a recent incident within our community, an elected leader informed his constituents that he had the constitutional right to dismiss them, though he never acted on this statement.

In response to his assertive remarks, community members united to express their concerns, feeling threatened and oppressed by his authoritative leadership style. They rallied together with the intent to vote him out of his position.

And indeed, they successfully did so.

This raises a thought-provoking question: In this scenario, who is the true victim?

This incident is a genuine account from a community I am associated with.

P.S. I was not personally affected, so any sympathies are best directed towards those truly impacted.
